Synopsis

‘The Beautiful Gamers’ is an observational documentary feature built around the lives, and intense rivalry, between the two most decorated eSports stars on the planet. Young, rich and famous, the film follows Musaed “MSDossany” Al Dossany and Donovan “Tekkz” Hunt, as they plot their path towards FIFAe World Cup glory. The victories, the disappointments; the trophies, prize money, deals and agents; the practice and determination; not to mention the constant verbal sparring that follows them wherever they go. A story as compelling in the competitive arena, as it is when following them in their vastly different lives.

’MSDossany’, a 22-year-old Saudi Arabian from Riyadh, and ‘Tekkz’ a 20-year-old Brit from Devon; couldn’t be more at odds in terms of personality, upbringing and styles of play. ‘Dossany’, the considered and likeable young Arab. ‘Tekkz’, the brash cocky young Devon lad who’s more than happy to allow both his mouth and his play do the talking. A match made in heaven as far as sporting rivalries go, and a fascinating insight into what life is like for the new breed of international super star athlete, as they command evermore fame, fortune and attention for playing computer games.
